Filter: Dose 15g-17g, water 250g. 
Espresso: Dose 18 gram to 38 gram yield over about 30 seconds.

  • About El Zumo Blend

    Bold, juicy and packing big fruit flavours. The current version of El Zumo features a natural processed coffee from Don Eli in Tarrazu, Costa Rica and Liza in Rwanda.

    The blend will change over time as fresh crops arrive, and V.7 delivers delicious notes of cherry, caramel and chocolate and is fantastic brewed as espresso or filter coffee.

Costa Rican farmers are known for their tendency to experiment with various post harvest processing method and for planting rare and interesting coffees, such as SL-28 and Geisha. We've been buying our Costa Rican coffees direct from the same producers for several years with the help of Selva coffee.

The Don Eli micro mill is owned by the Monetero family and is located between San Marco and Santa Maria, Tarrazu. We've been working directly with the Moneterro family for over 5 years. They process incredible coffees from their farms at the Don Eli Micro.

La Cumbre wet mill is owned by Minor and Nancy Jimenez. Dedicated to producing fantastic coffee by working with an excellent team of harvesters dedicated to delivering high-quality coffee cherry from Catui, Caturra and Centroamericano varietal trees.

The Producer

Bwishaza

Bwishaza washing station is co-operative owned and works with around 500 small-hold farmers. The co-operative produces a wide range of coffees with their main focus on clean, juicy, bright washed coffees. They also produce a range of natural processed coffees specifically for us.
