Nicaragua coffee cupping at Bond St.

Gold Mountain Coffee Growers cupping Nicaragua natural, honey and washed process tasting On Tuesday 30th of May we will be hosting a cupping at Bond St Coffee with Ben from Gold Mountain Coffee Growers. Ben works with several farmers in Nicaragua and is a speciality on alternative and experimental processing methods including some stunning natural and honey processed coffee. We first bought coffee from Gold Mountain in 2016 and look forward to buying more of their fantastic coffee again this year. All are welcome to attend the cupping on Tuesday 30th of May at 6pm at 15 Bond St, Brighton, BN11RD

London Coffee Festival 2017

London Coffee Festival 2017 The year is going way too fast and we've already been through another great London Coffee Festival. This year we joined La Marzocco at the roasters village showcasing our relationship coffees from Kenya and Rwanda. These two origins are a key focus for us and it was an amazing opportunity to be able to serve some truly unique, directly sourced coffees. Thanks to everyone who visited our stand, it was the launch day for our new arrival from Kenya and this can now be purchased via the webstore. As always it was great to partner up with our good friends at La Marzocco!

Roastery cafe and shop opening soon!

Horsham Coffee Roaster cafe and retail shop You might already have spotted on social media that we've been planning to officially open the roastery to the public on weekdays. The plans and setup are almost complete and from the 6th of March please visit as to purchase retail bags of coffee directly from the roastery or a variety of hot drinks. We will be serving rotating different coffees with a choice of two different coffees for espresso as well as our excellent single origin decaf. Coffee will be available to purchase in takeaway cups or to enjoy in the small cafe area. We will be serving coffee made on a La Marzocco GB5 and it's the perfect place for prospective wholesale...

The Market Years - Starting a speciality coffee business

Horsham Market  For the early years of Horsham Coffee Roaster our main income stream was the weekly Horsham food market. (Horsham is a beautiful market town in West Sussex and is, quite obviously, who we are named after.) We had a market stall every Thursday and Saturday from 2010 until late 2013 - selling both our lovely quality coffee beans and hot espresso based drinks, it was a steep learning curve for us. I had to learn quickly how to make a halfway decent flat white that wouldn’t be an embarrassment to our brand and we had to create a logo, banner and all other kinds of marketing paraphernalia that we had no idea about previously. Britain's top 30 coffee shop We are one of two Sussex coffee roasters featured We are very pleased to have recently been featured in the Telegraph as one of the top 30 coffee shops in Britain. It's not always clear but Horsham Coffee Roaster co-owns Bond St. Coffee in Brighton with our good friend Chris.
