Delivery and returns


Coffee Delivery Information

Our aim at Horsham Coffee Roaster is to offer a premium delivery service. All items are sent on a Tracked 24 service. Orders of £20 or more in value are sent free of charge. We charge just £1.80 for orders under £20. 

Please note: add on items to subscriptions are discounted by 20% to cover the £1.80 delivery charge. Unforunately our subscription software charges a delivery fee even if the add on pushed the total value over £20. The 20% discount is applied to cover this.

Next day coffee: We aim to send out all orders placed before midnight on the next working day (Mon-Fri excluding bank holidays). At busy times we might not be able to do this and once your order has been sent you will receive a dispatch confirmation email. As an example, if you order before midnight on Wednesday we will aim to send this out to you on Thursday.  

Our working days are Monday-Friday (we are closed bank holidays). While we always do our best to meet the next working day dispatch goal at busy times there might be an additional delay dispatching your order. We always aim to send coffee within 7 days of roast date. We find out coffee is at its best from 7-21 days from roast but still great up to 30 days. After this point a flavours begin to gradually decline.

We send out all UK Mainland orders using Royal Mail or DPD. When ordering please submit your email address and mobile phone number in order to receive updates from the Royal Mail Tracked and DPD service as selected at checkout. Please be aware that during busy periods we might take an extra day to dispatch orders and although Royal Mail and DPD offer next day delivery this is not a guarenteed service. 

Next day delivery is not guaranteed by any of our couriers. DPD and RM24 is usually a next day delivery service but at peak times they may take longer to delivery. Royal Mail will not class an item sent using a non tracked service as lost for 10 days. DPD are more likely to provide a next day service with 1 hour delivery slot. We recommend selecting DPD if your order is urgent.

UK mainland delivery:

Orders under £20:  RM24 Tracked charged at £1.80. Options available at checkout to upgrade to DPD.

Orders from £20-£59.99: Free delivery via RM24 Tracked. Options available at checkout to upgrade to DPD.

Orders from £60 upwards: Free delivery via DPD

Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and islands:

Delivery charges are the same as UK mainland. Please be aware that delivery might take several days. We reserve the right to use a different courier or postal service for some remote location post codes. 

International Delivery:

Please note, all deliveries outside the Great Britain and Northern Ireland may be subject to import duties. Horsham Coffee Roaster does not cover import duties and if you are concerned about import fees please check this with your local customs office.

Orders to the middle east are only sent via DHL Express. This is a premium delivery service but is quick and reliable usually taking 2-6 working days.

Orders to the rest of the world under 2kg: Royal Mail Tracked or Signed. This is dependant on the country the item is sent to. Deliveries to Europe usually take 3-5 working days. The rest of the world usually 5-7 working days.

Orders over 2kg: DHL Express. This is a premium service. Deliveries to Europe usually take 1-3 working days. The rest of the world usually 2 to 6 working days.

Most orders should reach you within 14 days of dispatch from our roastery.

The quickest method to calculate delivery charges is to add items to the shopping cart and use the 'Calculate shipping' function at the bottom left of the screen. 

We reserve the right to use a different delivery method at any time but will always send all orders with a reliable courier service. 

Returns:

We do not accept returns of coffee orders however if you are in anyway unhappy with your purchase please contact us via our dedicated support link or by using the support button at the bottom right hand side of the screen. We will always do our best to put things right.

If you wish to return an equipment order please contact us as soon as possible after order or delivery to facilitate the return. Purchases of equipment are covered by distance selling regulations. For more information please click here.
