  • About Los Romerillos - Last chance | Ecuador

    From the cool highlands of Zumba, this washed F1 hybrid lot comes from Los Romerillos, a farm perched at 1,600 MASL near the Yacurí National Reserve. Named after the native romerillo trees that grow across the property, the farm sits among natural springs and mist-covered slopes a setting that supports slow cherry development, clean processing, and vibrant flavour.

    Ripe cherries are handpicked, floated to remove defects and then pulped and anaerobically fermented in closed tanks for 48 hours. Coffee is dried on raised tables under protective cover for about 30 days.

I never write review but this time it's a great catch!

This is a great batch and roast. I tend not to write review as I never really feel competent enough to judge or even fully satisfied with the coffee. This time it is spot on, light enough roast and lovely beans. One of the best beaches I had from Horsham.

Joyous Stuff.

Wow, had a 1kg bag & very quickly ordered a 2nd with the brilliant coffee offer discount email. Utterly delicious ,best coffee since a Columbia coffee last spring,sadly not seen this year ( that’s still the best ever… But this is superb. The most “ coffee” flavour after drinking ,smooth but lots of depth ,1st sip is stunning and delivers long after my double shot with steamed milk from aeropress is finished . It makes me want a 2nd immediately. Super super . Well done guys for snatching some of this one 👏👏🤩
