Green Land estate lies on the road between Pyin Oo Lwin and Mogok, near the border of Mandalay Division and Northern Shan State. This is a family business led by U Sai Wan.
They grow a range of varietals and the coffee we've selected was harvested from SL34 trees, floated to remove defects and then pulped. After pulping the coffee was fermented dry for 48 hours and then laid out to dry on concrete patios.
Tasting notes include Molasses, fig, cocoa and a hint of green tea.
Green Land Estate is a family business owned and managed by U Sai Wan. The farm covers 450 acres and has become one of the leading producers of speciality coffee in Myanmar.
Myanmar, also called Burma, is located in the western portion of main
land Southeast Asia. Myanmar has been growing coffee since the late 1800s, introduced by British colonists. They have been producing speciality grade coffee since 2015.
Just in time for long days of summer I have discovered the wonderful Green Land Estate roast from HCR. Low acidity and hint of sweetness makes this one perfect for iced coffee on these hot summer days.
Thanks again to the HCR team for this wonderful discovery.

Excellent Coffee, different to the usual.
Bought this based on it being sourced from somewhere different. The coffee is excellent and not like any I've had before. Definitely recommend.

Fab!
The usual great quality from HCR. A hint of sweetness but huge on the molasses. A little too much molasses for my palate but great coffee all the same.
