Coffee That Gives Back

At Horsham Coffee Roaster, we believe that exceptional coffee should do more than just taste good – it should do good, too.

That’s why we’re proud to be an official partner of Project Waterfall, a global charity working to bring clean water, sanitation and hygiene education to coffee-growing communities. These are the same communities that make what we do possible – and we believe it’s our responsibility to give something back.

Why It Matters

Coffee is grown in some of the most water-scarce regions on earth. While many of us take clean water for granted, 785 million people globally still lack access to it – and many of them are coffee farmers.

Project Waterfall exists to change that. Since 2011, the charity has raised over £1.5 million, changing the lives of more than 70,000 people across 7 countries.

By enjoying coffee with us, you’re helping bring clean water to the communities that grow it.

How We’re Supporting

We’ve joined Project Waterfall’s Roasters Programme to make a direct impact in Rwanda — one of our key sourcing origins. Here’s how your coffee supports the cause:

  • £0.15 donated for every bag of Rwanda coffee sold
  • Optional £0.50 donation available at checkout
  • Special promotions that raise even more — like our El Zumo campaign

Every contribution adds up to cleaner water, better health, and brighter futures.

Recent Campaign Highlight: Free El Zumo + Donations to Rwanda

Over the May Bank Holiday 2025, we gave customers the chance to grab a free 250g bag of our popular El Zumo coffee while supporting clean water projects in Rwanda.

For every qualifying order, we donated £0.50 to Project Waterfall. The funds are helping build sustainable water and sanitation infrastructure for over 46,000 people in Rwanda’s Bugesera district.
