  • About La Palmera Geisha | Honduras

This is a stunning washed Geisha varietal from a small farm in Honduras owned by Yolanda Ramos. The farm covers about 24 hectares and is planted with several varietals including Geisha. Complex and juicy with a cup score of 87.5 points.

Coffee was hand harvested from Geisha varietal trees and carefully hand sorted before being pulped, fermented and then washed. The coffee was then dried on raised tables.

This is a stunning example of a clean, bright, complex washed Geisha with tasting notes that include pear, floral jasmine notes and a honey like sweetness.

My first Geisha

First Geisha espresso and it was lovely, so smooth and buttery but fruity and delicious. It was really helpful for Horsham to put a recipe up too as it was perfect and saved me wasting coffee to trying to dial it in.
