Uganda Mount Elgon

This is a washed coffee from the a co-operative of producers in Uganda harvested from SL28 and SL34 varietal trees. The average farm size is only around 1 hectare, and on this land most families also grow a variety of subsistence crops such as matooke (cooking banana) and fruit trees, beans, peas, millet and coco yam. 

The coffee is processed using a washed method that includes fermentation and grading in channels creating a clean, bright washed coffee with tasting notes that include mandarin, honey and milk chocolate.

Subscription terms and conditions

The subscription charge will be collected at the period of time specified when ordering (ie every 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks). You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time.

What coffee will I receive?

Our coffee of the month subscription focuses on direct relationship coffees from Costa Rica, Rwanda and Kenya with cup scores of 86+. We also feature a few other coffees from around the world to showcase different taste profiles. We feature a wide range of varietals and processing including washed, honey and natural processes.
Here are some examples of the producers we feature:

All coffees are labelled with full information including a QR code linking to a dedicated web page with more detailed information and photos of the farm and processing.

What subscription options are there?

When you purchase a Coffee of the Month subscription, you will have the opportunity to choose how regularly you'd like to receive coffee, the amount of coffee you would like to receive in each order and what type of grind you would like.

How do subscriptions work?

Once you have created your Coffee of the Month subscription, we will begin sending you hand-selected coffee in the frequency, amount and type you have selected.

The coffee you will be sent changes every 4 weeks, so if you have asked for coffee more frequently than this then you may receive the same coffee twice.

If you create an account whilst creating your subscription:

  • Change your next order date
  • Switch to a different subscription coffee
  • Change the amount of coffee
  • Change your order frequency

When will I receive my coffee?

Your initial order will usually be sent our on the following working day. Future orders are typically sent out within one the business day after your card has been charged.

All orders are sent using a Tracked service and tracking information is available by logging in to your account.

Is delivery included in the price?

We offer free delivery when the order value is £20 or more. So, if you subscribe to 1kg or 3x250g of coffee delivery via a tracked service is included.

For a single 250g subscription a delivery charge of £1.80 will be added and your order will be delivered via a tracked service.

Super happy with my subscription

I recently subscribed a monthly coffee delivery (I've been buying coffee for quite some time but only now decided to subscribe) and the first order was a dream - absolutely delightful coffee of the month, a beautiful gift - Hario V60 in a unique colour and good quality material, and even some filters which I didn't expect would be added on.
