Costa Rica La Cumbre
La Cumbre wet mill is owned by Minor Jimenez and his family. Dedicated to producing fantastic coffee by working with an excellent team of harvesters dedicated to delivering high quality coffee cherry from Catui and Caturra trees.
The Producer
Rwanda Bwishaza
We've been buying coffee directly from Bwishaza since 2016. They are co-operative owned and work with around 500 small-hold farmers. We've selected a washed Red Bourbon lot for this years Christmas Blend.
Our Christmas Coffee Blend helps to support a local charity dedicated to fighting hunger and tackling food waste. They receive surplus food that would likely go to waste and turn this into meals that can then be distributed to those in need.
10% of the value of all Christmas coffee blend sales will be donated to Fareshare Sussex and Surrey.

How do we create the blend?

Every year we look for coffees with a flavour profile to complement tastes and flavours typically found around this time of year. These tend to be chocolate, orange, rich dried fruits (ie Christmas Cake) and boozy/alcohol like tasting notes.
We like to feature our relationship producers in our Christmas coffee blend and every year we are able to find great coffees from Costa Rica and Rwanda with these kind of tasting notes.

What should I order when it runs out!?

Every year when the Christmas coffee blend runs out customers contact us to find out what they should order for the rest of the year! Our El Zumo blend has a similar taste profile and although it isn't exactly the same it will feature some of our fruitier coffees making it a fantastic choice.
