Learn how to roast coffee

We offer a 3 hour coffee roasting course perfect for any coffee lover. This course is suitable for anyone who would like to learn more about where coffee comes from and the journey from producer to finished product. You don't need any experience working with coffee but you will need to be a keen coffee drinker in order to get the most from the course.

Learning how to roast coffee on a Loring S35

The coffee roasting courise is run by Dudley our head roaster and will include the following:

• Introduction to green coffee and how it is produced.
• An opportunity to roast coffee on our Loring S35.
• Discussions around roast profiles, timing end temperature and roast development.
• Coffee cupping and sensory evaluation.
• An opportunity to take home coffee you've roasted and 2 x 250g bags of select single origin coffees.

Our coffee roasting course lasts for 3 hours and are run on select Friday afternoons. The session is priced at £200 inc VAT and is suitable for 1 to 2 people.
